The Indie International Songwriting Contest
is a semiannual song competition to give recognition to some of the best emerging songwriters in the world, help develop their talent, and provide useful tools for developing the success of the artist.

WE ARE NOW ACCEPTING ENTRIES FOR THE CURRENT CONTEST WHICH ENDS DECEMBER 31ST, 2008 or at the 150 song capacity per genre (whichever comes first!). Winners for last contest will be announced first week in August.
We are now accepting song entries in the following 5 genres:
Folk/Acoustic
Country
Rock
Pop
Instrumental
Contests close at 150-song genre capacity or final deadline of December 31, 2008.
EVERY entrant can log in to their account after the contest has been closed to view their song, contest judge, and their score/critique (depending on your submission type - see below) for their submission. All contestants will also receive a SONGWRITERS PROFILE on the site.
Each contest genre is limited to only the first 150 song entries. You will NOT get lost in the crowd at Indie International!
Songwriters or songwriting teams may enter up to three songs, and can divide these between multiple categories if they wish.
$30 (USD)/song for a BASIC ENTRY w/ standard evaluation
or add only $10 for a FULL CRITIQUE $40 (USD)/song.
YES! EVERYONE gets a standard evaluation with their submission!
Unlike other song competitions, all entries remain absolutely anonymous to our judges. Production value is not taken into consideration. Songs are judged based on originality, melody, composition, lyrics and phrasing.
ALL FIRST & SECOND PLACE WINNERS will also be featured here on the front page of the Indie International website for the duration of the next series, as well as the winners page with the rest of our awarded songwriters. All award winners will be permanently featured on the indie international website.
