Louisa was born in the West Country of England in 1950. From an early age she became a prolific writer of poetry. At the age of twenty one, she moved to London where she felt that there were better opportunities to develop her creativity. She has been living and working in various locations there ever since, for the last thirteen years in Greenwich.
A musician, TV producer, photographer, writer, storyteller, and poet, she now has a substantial body of work in variety of genre to her name. She has written, performed and co-produced three albums of her songs, including her most recent ’Jazzmoss’, which has been described as ‘poetic jazz’. Louisa collaborated with the multi-talented Ugandan musician Kaz Kasozi to produce this album and it includes performances by some of the top names in British Jazz.
Louisa believes that her poetry forms the foundation of her art. This collection ’Whispers in the Mists of Time’, is a small sample from her huge collection of poems and has been long awaited by admirers of her powerful and original work.
