After growing up in Hawaii with a teacher mother and a waiter father, I came to the mainland to learn about the real world. I spent several years in New England forging friendships and learning about music.
Over the past ten years, I have played in and recorded with numerous bands with friends as well as performed in several ensembles in college. Genres I have explored and performed include: medieval music, jazz, rock, indie rock, pop, hardcore punk rock, metal, and experimental music. I have a deep appreciation for all forms of music and have performed and recorded as a singer, bassist, guitarist and saxophonist.
I currently reside in Brooklyn, NY. I have collaborated with R&B, indie, and pop musicians since I have re-located to the city. I pay my rent with the money I earn as a line cook for Amsterdam Tavern, a pub on the upper west side.
