Country Music singer-songwriter and guitarist Trey Hirsh is making a quick impact on the Nashville music scene, as publishers, songwriting organizations, and music producers get to know his cool sound and clever songwriting. Trey is a member of ASCAP, West Coast Songwriters, and NSAI (Nashville Songwriters Association International), and he recently won "Best Country Song" in the 2013 West Coast Songwriters International Songwriting Contest for his song Mess with Texas, a tune which also landed Trey in the Top 8 of GoCountry 105’s Texaco Country Showdown contest.
Recently dubbed “One to Watch” by NSAI, Trey has had six songs recommended to the organization’s quarterly “Pitch to Publisher” Luncheon. His original EP showcased his range by including everything from the bad-ass, rural rock tune Can't Take the Country Outta' Me to the existential cowboy ballad When I'm Gone. He also released the powerful jam Me and the Whiskey, which tells the painful story of love lost and maybe not the best way to deal with it
Trey also likes to write about just having a good time and living for today. He is particularly good at penning upbeat love songs such as Coming Home to You, Mess with Texas, Let You Back In and She's Coming This Way as well as feel-good, party songs like Stayed Out Tonight, Livin’ The Dream, Two Shots of Patrón, and Three Wise Men
Trey has studied songwriting with Phil Swann, RC Bannon, Rick Beresford, Deanna Walker, and Steve Bloch among others. He got back in the studio in May to record some new tracks that have been getting a lot of attention, including a sexy Country Christmas song called Let Me Be Your Santa Claus.
