The Voice of Christal Roberts
From the state of Michigan that birthed numerous multi-talented singers, comes the sweet sound of Christal Roberts. Singer, Songwriter and Musician, Christal is truly a “Designer’s Original”. As a child, her voice was heard on the Jerry Lewis Telethon and commissioned her the chance to win many local talent shows, singing Mahalia Jackson’s “Somebody Bigger Than You and I”. Christal’s music has been heard all over the United States and Europe as well, with her 1998 CD Release “Listen”. Possessing the gift of song writing and musicianship allowed for project opportunities with a vast variety of artists and producers in the music industry. From Danniebelle Hall, to Cyrus Chestnut, Rance Allen, to Prince Damons, Christal’s style of music challenges genre categories with uplifting and encouraging lyrics. She is a unique artist with a universal tone, encompassing rhythms of samba and smooth jazz as well as the foot stomping sounds of Sunday Morning Church.
Christal’s signature song “Brighter Days” is a testament to her own battle with depression and enthusiastically shares this tool of encouragement. She is currently an advocate for Mental Health America and resides in the beautiful Pacific Northwest with her family.
